Jones
Soda makes a Holiday Pack. We heard of this in the past and were curious to see what these
concoctions tasted like. So Matt dropped down the $10 for the
box of 5 and we made a party out of it. Basically, they made
different flavors of soda that taste like a Thanksgiving dinner.
Well, that was the idea. So, join us as we enjoy a candlelit
dinner and good times. All reactions and expressions seen here
are 100% real.
What
was on the menu?
Brussel Sprouts
Cranberry Sauce
Turkey & Gravy
Wild Herb Stuffing
Pumpkin Pie
Also included: Serving spoon, moistened towelette,
and wine list.

A
Gathering of Friends |
So,
who was up for the Jones Thanksgiving challenge? Going clockwise
from top center we have Ross Uhrig, Rory Behrens, Bill Freitag,
Lexi Grote, Jana Uhrig, Matt Klundt, Jill
Sisson, Josh
Frock, and myself taking the pictures. Matt was our host for
the evening and made us feel very at home with the candles and
the plate of crackers and dip (which we ended up needing). |
#1:
Wild Herb Stuffing |
Results: Alka
Seltzer-ish goodness. And by goodness, I mean yuck..
|
 |
|
#2:
Brussel Sprouts |
|
#3:
Turkey & Gravy |

Results: Tasted
kinda like broth, but overall, lacked any real flavor. Not as gross
as the Brussle Sprouts, but still not good. |
 |
  |
#4:
Cranberry
Sauce |

Results: This one actually tasted all right. The only bottle we finished. |
#5:
Pumpkin Pie |

Results: Gross. There was nothing of Pumpkin in this. It had somewhat
of a burnt flavor. We all decided it needed whipped cream. |

Aftermath Apparently
there's something in these sodas that creates belches
of a horrifying nature. Also, they made Bill throw up. It's really
hard to describe to you how bad these tasted, without any of you
actually trying them. Overall, it was a fun little event and we
had a lot of laughs out of it. Though, if I find the guy who made
the Brussle Sprout flavored one up, I will tear his head off. Happy
Thanksgiving everybody! |
